I have worked in the care sector for 30 years, with 14 of those years spent at Kardinal Healthcare. During this time, I have progressed my career from a part-time carer—balancing work around my family—to becoming a Supervisor 8 years ago, and now working as the Children and Young People’s Liaison. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in complex care, supporting children, young people, and adults with a range of clinically complex needs. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, have completed my Care Standards, and most recently achieved my Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management. I enjoy the flexibility and variety of my role, which allows me to work both in the office and in the community, completing care visits with adults and children while supporting teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
