Karen Wood

I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to my role. I previously worked as a Nursing Assistant at St Richard’s Hospital on the Oncology and Haematology Ward, where I  spent over 12 years supporting patients with complex and specialist needs. Following this, I progressed into the role of Care Co-ordinator, remaining with her previous organisation for six and a half years. I  joined Kardinal Healthcare in 2025 as Acting Registered Manager. I am currently undertaking my  CQC Registration and working towards my NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate care, and supporting both staff and clients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
