Welcome to Kardinal Healthcare

Independence is important to all of us and Kardinal Healthcare provides a high standard of personal care enabling clients of all ages, with a variety of needs to live full, safe, independent lives in their own homes.

Before your care begins, we will visit you either in hospital before discharge or in your own home to carry out a care needs and risk assessment to determine the level of care you require. We would encourage either a relative or close friend to be present at your initial visit.

Depending on your needs we are able to provide the following:

Personal Care

We can support you with your day to day living requirements and can assist with your normal routine to include bathing, dressing, continence care, medication and meal preparation.

We understand that our clients have different preferences regarding the level of support they require and work with them to ensure they remain as independent as possible, this could be one call a week to assist with showering through to four calls a day, seven days a week.

Respite Care

We can provide you with peace of mind that your loved one is being cared for at home whilst you carry on with your normal day to day activities. This could be anything from an hours visit whilst you attend appointment through to 24 hours. We take care to match our care staff to our clients.

Palliative Care

We work closely with NHS Continuing Health Care and our local hospice St Barnabas to provide palliative care. We will support you and your loved ones with your illness. We understand how difficult your diagnosis can be and will work with the Multi-Disciplinary Teams to ensure you remain comfortable in your own home.

We understand how lonely it can be living alone in your own home. We can provide a companion to spend time with you doing the things you enjoy, or just simply sit and chat with you.

We can also assist you with a trip out whether it be a walk to the local shops or a day out further afield such as a theatre trip.

Shopping and Domestic Calls

Do you find it difficult visiting the shops? We can either take you or write a shopping list and we can go for you.

We also assist with light domestic duties such as dusting, vacuuming and laundry. Or you may only need someone to help change the bedding. Whatever your requirements we are here to help.

Our care services are delivered with professionalism, dignity and sensitivity.

We can provide our services in the following areas:
